1. Introduction


The Youth Education and Internship Society (YEIS) is a dynamic, youth-led organization committed to empowering young people through education, skills development, leadership training, and internship opportunities. The Society was founded by Daniel K. Nyabuti, a former Public Service Intern, together with Marcello and a vibrant network of interns who believed firmly in the creativity, energy, and transformational potential of young people in Kenya.


YEIS was established as a platform to nurture young leaders, strengthen civic responsibility, promote professional growth, and support community-driven development through practical programs and mentorship.

Overall head and visionary leader of the society.

Provides strategic direction and policy guidance.

Represents IESK at national and international forums.

Oversees all departments and ensures coordination of activities across Kenya’s regions.

  1. Board Members

Responsible for the day-to-day operations and implementation of programs.

Coordinates partnerships with public and private institutions.

Supervises project performance and staff management.

Leads in organizational growth, industrial linkages, and sustainability.

Coordinates industrial collaboration and youth placement within Kenya’s manufacturing sector.

Promotes skill development, innovation, and internship-to-employment transition.

Works with industries to enhance productivity through intern engagement.
